“The Shape Of Things to Come” is an ongoing series. Every booklet constitutes a chapter whereas each chapter is dedicated to another central topic in order to formulate concrete theses, observations and suggestions regarding my visual perception.

What attracts me most is the definition of shape. Shape can mean form, but also state, outline, cast, stamp, silhouette, condition... it remains entirely open. The series functions as the basis for my other works as an uncensored archive of the working process.

The project “The Shape Of Things To Come” is a separate part of my work. Eleven chapters have been released so far; it is constantly in the progress of developing and always included in exhibitions.

The title “The Shape Of Things To Come” is taken from the science fiction novel by H. G. Wells published in 1933. It is a fictional history textbook from the year 2106 in which the author contemplates the events of his present and speculates on the future development of the world until the year 2106.
